Baldock Town 'A' Win the Cairns Cup

​Baldock Town 'A' won the Cairns Cup on Friday 22nd August with hard fought victory over Royston BC. In a repeat of the final from 2023 and 2024, it was Baldock who won their third Cairns Cup in a succession with a 63-51 victory. Congratulations to the winning team of Matt Hayzelden, Sam Andrews, Jamie Claydon, Harry Undrell, Paul Andrews, Lorcan Saunders, Aaron Heath and Steve Budge.​​
Dave Jefferies

​Is with great sadness to announce Dave Jefferies passed away on Friday 8th August 2025. Dave was a dedicated member of Riverain Bowls Club and held many roles at the club at which he bowled for many years. Dave was also a dedicated supporter of the Letchworth & District Bowls Association representing the association in countless friendly and invitational matches, as well as his role as Honary Assistant Secretary. Thoughts go out to Dave's family and friends. He will be sorely missed by the Letchworth & District Bowls Association. ​​
Brian Leadley

It is with great sadness to announce Brian Leadley passed away peacefully on Wednesday 11th June 2025. Brian was a dedicated member of Baldock Town Bowls Club and held many roles at Baldock and Avenue Park Sports Club as well as his role as Assistant Secretary for the Letchworth & District Bowls Association and as a committee member for Hertfordshire Bowls Association. He was a much loved and respected member and bowler both on and off the green of both Baldock Town Bowls Club and the Letchworth & District Bowls Association and will be dearly missed. RIP Brian.​​​
